This, Barbarism, is one of a series of drawing project I began working on in 2005.I am currently (August 2007) working on this piece, Barbarism. Detail./Babarism/2007
I intend to add one drawing each year, and I am planning to make a collection of 10 drawings in total for this project. This kind of drawing I began working on in 1999. Social, Political, and Humanitarian related issues and commentaries are the main subject matters of these drawings. I have been working on an ongoing art project, Amputation, since 2001. This piece is a dedication to the victims of War and violence. The piece is made of a pile of plaster casts of hands and fingers of the people who volunteer their hands to get a cast of their hands for the project. This is an image of me getting the molds of people’s hands.

عکس بالا فعالیت بر روی یکی از پروژه هائیست که از سال 2001در دست تهیه دارم. عنوان این اثر هنری قطع عضو است و خود اثر نیز در راستای بزرگداشت قربانیان جنگ و خشونت است. این اثر تشکیل شده است از انبوهی از قالبهای گچی دستها و انگشتان مردمی که دستان و انگشتان خود را در طی هفت سال گذشته که من بر روی این اثر فعالیت دارم برای تکمیل این کار هنری داوطلب کرده اند. عکسهای بیشتری را از پروسه کار بر روی این اثر و همچنین از نمایشهای تاکنونی این کار هنری در پستهای بعدی خواهم گذاشت. لطفا با ارائه نظرات خود مرا در هر چه بهتر تکمیل کردن این قطعه یاری نمائید
