Sunfest/Amputation
Inorder to compelet the project Amputation, I go to Sunfest on the first weekend of July for four days in London Ontario every year.

Let's Cry Out Peace/2001 بیائید صلح را فریاد زنیم
I planned to do a series of paintings in 1999. I use acrylic on canvas and I have so far five of these paintings done. Their dimensions are 68” X 48”. The above painting, entitled let’s Cry out Peace was done shortly after September 11, 2001, a dedication to the mothers of New York, whom had lost their love ones on that day. Now I believe this particular piece was the reason of me being interrogated by the US Secret Service investigators and an RCMP officer and the problems that came afterward.
در سال 1999میلادی تصمیم گرفتم یه سری نقاشی انجام بدم. این پروژه که در ابتدا قرار بود هر سالی یک عدد به آن اضافه شود اکنون به پنج عدد رسیده اند. من در خلق این آثار از رنگ آکریلیک بر روی بوم استفاده کرده و همه آنها در یک اندازه ( 170 در 120 سانتی متر) میباشند. اثز بالا (که عنوانش " بیائید صلح را فریاد زنیم" است) کوناه مدتی پس از یازدهم سپتامبر 2001 در پاسخ به فراخوان هنرمندان ایرانی کانادا در رابطه با آن روز سیاه انجام داده و من آن را به مادران نیویورک که عزیزان خود را در آن روز از دست داده تقدیم کرده بودم. اکنون پس از 5-6 سال بر این باورم که اثر بالا منشاء مزاحمتهای دردسر ساز ماموران اطلاعاتی آمریکا و کانادا در سال 2001 و مشکلات بعدی ناشی از آن برای من بوده است.
Morning star 1999 ستاره سحری
I planned to do a series of paintings in 1999. I use acrylic on canvas and I have so far five of these paintings done. Their dimensions are 68” X 48”. The first one of these series was called morning star, a dedication to the thousands of individuals who were executed in Iranian prisons shortly after the revolution of 1979.
در سال 1999 میلادی تصمیم گرفتم یه سری نقاشی انجام بدم. این پروژه که در ابتدا قرار بود هر سالی یک عدد به آن اضافه شود اکنون به پنج عدد رسیده اند. من در خلق این آثار از رنگ آکریلیک بر روی بوم استفاده کرده و همه آنها در یک اندازه ( 170 در 120 سانتی متر) میباشند. عنوان اولین نقاشی از این دست که در همان سال 1999 انجام دادم ستاره سحری است که بیاد و در بزرگداشت عزیزانی انجام شد که چند سالی پس از انقلاب 1357 جانشان را در زندانهای ایران از دست دادند.
